1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Rodrigo Barbosa Ribeiro, owner of the Blocki app ("Blocki", "we"). By downloading, installing or using Blocki, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Apple and Google
This agreement is between you and us, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC. They are not responsible for Blocki or its content, support or maintenance. When using the app, you also follow the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
3. What Blocki does
Blocki lets you hide and lock other apps on your device with a PIN, plus features such as icon camouflage, disguises, app restrictions, intruder capture and biometric unlock. It relies on operating system features (such as Screen Time on iOS) and the permissions you grant. Because of this, behavior may vary across devices, system versions and platforms.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Blocki on devices you own or control, subject to the store's rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the app.
5. Your PIN
Your PIN and all Blocki data stay on your device only. We have no access to them and cannot recover a forgotten PIN. Keep it safe and don't share it. You are responsible for keeping your device and PIN secure.
6. Acceptable use
When using Blocki, you agree to:
- not use the app for illegal activities or to conceal evidence of unlawful acts;
- install the app only on devices you own or are authorized to manage;
- use Intruder Capture lawfully and responsibly, respecting other people's image and privacy;
- not attempt to bypass, break into or disrupt the app or the store.
7. Blocki Plus
The free version protects up to 5 hidden apps and 5 locked apps. Blocki Plus is a one-time purchase, with no subscription and no auto-renewal, that unlocks unlimited protected apps, icon camouflage, app restrictions, intruder capture and Face ID unlock.
- Price: the amount shown in the store at the time of purchase, including applicable taxes.
- Payment: made through the App Store or Google Play, charged to the account linked to the store.
- Restore purchase: the purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google account. On a new device or after reinstalling, tap "Restore purchase" in the app, using the same account on the same platform.
- Refunds: refund requests follow the policy and channels of the store where you bought it, without prejudice to your rights under consumer protection law.
New features may be added to Plus. We will never charge you again for features you have already purchased.
8. Intellectual property
The Blocki name, mascot, logo, design and code are our property and protected by law. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond the license described above.
9. Limitation of liability
We work to make Blocki run well, but it is provided "as is". It is an extra layer of privacy and does not replace your device's screen lock. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or prevent every kind of access in every situation, especially when the operating system limits or changes its features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, a forgotten PIN or indirect damages arising from use of the app.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and relevant changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. You may stop using Blocki at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your license if you violate these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of the consumer's place of residence. The Portuguese version of these terms prevails in case of any discrepancy.
